Today is my graduation day.

Today is my graduation day.
But before any applause, I want you to look at him.
My grandfather.
He held my hand at my mother’s funeral…

and never let go.
He gave up his own dreams, his rest, his medicine…
so I could have a future.
He packed lunches, sewed uniforms, walked miles just to see me smile at school.
Today, I’m the one getting the diploma.
But he’s the one who deserves the standing ovation.

If you can, leave a word, a blessing, a heart.
Because he never asked for anything —
but gave me everything.
