Bonnie – Choosing Joy Over Cancer

She’s only five — tiny, bright-eyed, full of glitter and dreams — yet Bonnie has faced a battle many adults could never endure.
A small bump became a devastating truth: stage 4 rhabdoid cancer, rare and aggressive. To save her life, doctors had to take her arm.

When she woke up, she whispered to her mum:
“It’s okay, Mummy… I can still hug you.”

Through painful treatments and endless hospital days, Bonnie chose joy. She dances down corridors, paints rainbows, wears her sparkly tiara with pride, and even comforts other children with a smile.

Bonnie reminds us that courage isn’t loud — sometimes it’s small, gentle, and shining… even in the darkest rooms.
