January 18, 2015 began like any other cold morning…

January 18, 2015 began like any other cold morning — a “quick ultrasound,” cereal on the floor, two toddlers in chaos. I joked, “Just tell me it’s not twins.”

Then silence. A frozen screen. And words that flipped my world upside down: “It really is twins.”

Fear rushed in — high-risk scans, fast heartbeats, a future suddenly doubled. But when the shock faded, wonder bloomed.   At 35 weeks, they arrived minutes apart — same glow, different weight, different presence. Time revealed the miracle: mirror-image twins   — identical, yet beautifully opposite.

Today, as a mom of five, I’m exhausted… and overflowing with gratitude. These girls share a face, not a fate. One bold, one gentle. Two full miracles — the same wonder, whispered twice.
