I’m a firefighter.
I’m used to sirens, rushing against time, and danger.

But today…
My heart is racing for a different reason.

My daughter is turning 2 years old.
While other moms are setting up parties, I’m putting on my uniform — ready to protect other families.

She doesn’t fully understand yet…
But every time I come home and she runs to me with that little smile,
I know it’s all worth it.
