When Typhoon Tino tore through Cebu…

When Typhoon Tino tore through Cebu, the world saw broken homes and flooded streets. But unseen victims suffered in silence — the animals with nowhere to run and no voice to cry for help.

Dogs and cats searched for owners who never returned. Farm animals vanished with the rising waters. Wildlife fled shattered habitats into danger. They couldn’t ask for help. They simply endured.
Rescuers and volunteers rushed in — saving, feeding, healing — yet thousands still wait, hungry and injured. Disasters don’t just destroy homes… they shatter ecosystems.

If we rebuild Cebu, we must remember its animals. Every rescue, donation, and act of compassion matters. Because when they can’t speak, we must speak for them.
